the history BEHIND
The name Vukosav pays homage to my beloved uncle, a kindred spirit whose restaurant in Mostar, Herzegovina was a vibrant crossroads of culture — a place where people from all walks of life gathered. It was there that my parents’ paths first crossed, drawn together by my uncle’s warm, generous spirit. His philosophy of celebrating humanity and elevating hospitality and culture remains the cornerstone of our brand, infusing every journey with the intent to create moments that connect and inspire.
My perspective — from the way I travel to the way I photograph — is shaped by these familial bonds. The Vukosav name is more than a signature; it’s a reflection of a collective vision: that travel should be as welcoming and diverse as the guests in my uncle’s restaurant, and as cherished as the stories passed down through generations.
